Sylwia Gryczuk – September Guest Designer

My name is Sylwia Gryczuk and I am originally from Poland but I live and create in little village Claregalway Co.Galway, Ireland. I work with different mixed media materials such as acrylic, inks, watercolours, vintage papers, beeswax, fabric and 3D elements.
I am very passionate about creating whimsical art pieces with a little bit of magic. I love painting, art journaling, collages, altered items and craft projects. In 2012 I have created TandiArt Studio, where I put my whole heart into white canvas, pages and 3D objects to transform them into something happy and soulful :).

Hello Arty Souls! I am so delighted to be a Guest Designer for ‘7 dots studio’ I absolutely love working with their papers!!! They are purely magical!!! This is my first project – a layout with my baby girl- Nandi.

Firstly I distressed the edges of two big sheets of paper, then I cut the paper into smaller pieces and also distressed the edges. I built the background using paper, stamp, vintage doily and flowers from ‘Zeus and Zoe’. Because I love painting and doodling, I added some doodles:)

Cold Country – Lonely evenings
Tags from Illumination’ collection
Stamp from collection ‘Cold Country

I wanted to show you today also my journal page with one of my favourite theme – Fairies:) In this project, I decided to use beautiful tags and stickers from ‘Illumination’ collection and clear stamp, element stickers and word stickers from ‘Cold Country’.

I simply build the background with small stickers and tags, I added acrylic paint, doodles and stamp. I love playing with stickers and pieces of paper to create a scene. As you can see the heart stickers became my flowers:) When the background was ready, I outlined the Fairy girl. I made sure that all the beautiful tags and stickers are visible in her skirt:)
