February challenge – hearts
Hello,
Today we would like to encourage you to play with us, because the theme is hearts 🙂 One of the warmest symbol ever. Symbol of love.
Here is inspiration from our team:
I decided this year that I need to make more Off-the-Page projects so I created this using an inexpensive board picture I bought at a home décor store. I covered it with paper from the Thoughts Keeper collection. I used an image of one of my favourite scriptures, for a different take on the Hearts theme. It now hangs in our passage as a reminder to everyone in our family to keep their heart clean!
I absolutely love the romantic style of shabby, old pictures and flowers so I created my layout about love and hearts. I like the combination of optimistic pastel colors and vintage brown. I have used beautiful 7 Dots Studio newest collection ‘Soulmates’: papers, tags, stickers, stamps, chipboards and stencil to create this page.
This is lo about my lovely son!!! He is the best in my life. I love him so much!!
This year I gave my hubby heart shaped frame instead of Valentine’s card. I wanted to give him something he can look at (yep, looking at me all life long is still not enough 😉 ) while he works on his computer. It will last longer than a paper card. I used some word stickers to fill the bigger heart with love.
Who doesn’t think love when someone says heart? Who doesn’t feel love toward a baby? One of my friend made this beautiful photo of her son’s feet and I just couldn’t resist ….
Can’t imagine my February without of sweet cards. D you often tell your family you love them? I do. This is such a happiness to hear their happy voices.
This is another of my my favourite photos which for some reason again is very bright ! This photo is a special one as it is at the park in winter , down the road from our new house. We had not moved in yet and but we were getting to know the area .
As the theme for the challenge is “Hearts” I have used the word in my title and also used some die cut elements shaped in hearts and scattered around the page.
I went a different route with this one. My first idea was to make a pastel page about my family, but then I chose to go with another topic and use some of the older collections with brighter colors. So I took this photo of a painting my older girl has made and chose a orange and green scheme to go with it. The painting is of “Mulle” a little forest troll she’s been introduced in the day care. Mulle takes care of the forests and animals and my daughter adores him. I used a heart shaped stencil in the background and also added stamped hearts in there. I also used hearts in the embellishments and drew a big heart around the photo to the background.
I was inspired by the love that is so rampant during the month of February. I created this heart shaped home decor piece to hang in my crafting area and remind me how beautiful the world is if you focus on love and not hate. All you need is love.
