Hello, it’s Elena here today.
It is a bit sad but this is my last post as a DT member for 7 Dots Studio. I can not believe I’ve been a part of this team for the past 3 full years and I still can not believe how fast the time flies. It seems it was only yesterday.
However new faces and new blood are always a great source of bringing something new. So I want to thank Tusia, the owner, from the bottom of my heart for her kindness, generosity and friendly relationship during these 3 years.
And today I’ve got a Layout to share with you, that I made with the brand new Homegrown collection – such a good definition, especially when it concerns something about handmade.
I used the funny pictures of my kids. I decided to play along with the floral motifs of this collection, so I turned the background paper sheet 90 degrees, as I wanted the big flowers and leaves be the part of the complicated background for my Layout.
I also made some fussy cutting , using the same paper sheet from the 6*6 paper pad, and what I ‘ve done next – I enjoyed coloring them.
I also added the chipboard pieces from the same collection and made the focus on the flowers of the patterned paper.
To add more color to the grey background sheet I misted some sprays using the Burst stencil.
and applied the texture paste using the Floral Stencil.
I love to experiment with the collections and papers , but this time I played only with the one and the same – Homegrown.
Hope you have enjoyed my creations
and I am not saying farewell
I only say – Happy Papercrafting.
