A fairy tale mind by Sanderijn de Bruin

Hi everybody!
Here is my mixed media layout ‘A fairy tale mind…’

The angel statue in the picture, is a gorgeous statue that stands in sombody’s front yard in my village. I always love the elegancy it sends out. I took the picture a couple of years ago, but I still love it. It reminds me of something mysterious and looks like it comes from a fairy tale…It’s angelic and graceful…

I started with two layers of clear gesso on my paper, so I could add pink watercolor without damaging my paper. I stamped with clear stamps from the Yuletide collection on the background, added the watercolor, and when it was dry, I added some light paste with mica powder and Fortune Teller Dots Stencil.

I glued down a few Cotton Candy Dreams tags, and then started building the page with cheese cloth, flowers, Writer’s block die cuts, word stickers and more.
Because I used the stars from the stamp in the background, I decided to add more stars as embellishments to my page.

To finish my page, I added sequins, glass beads, white ink splatters and some ultra fine glitter.
And here is my video tutorial for you, I hope you will enjoy it.

Thank you for stopping by!
Love, Sanderijn
