ATC by Fiona Paltridge

Hello my 7 Dots Friends. Fiona here with you today to share a trio of tiny Artist trading cards I have made to share with my fellow 7 Dots team members.

The beautiful Keren Tamir sent me a little ATC the other day all the way from Canada. She made it from our latest collections and it was so cute that it inspired me to make some more. Especially because I’d like to send one back to her.

I chose to use the stunning “Hazy Days” collection. Every time I pull out a piece from this collection it still takes my breath away. the colours are stunning and DeeDee did such a great job bringing my negative scans to life! I still can’t believe how cool they look.

I did a little bit of gritty modelling paste scraping through the gorgeous birds on a wire stencil and some stamping to make the base of the cards interesting.

Then I added some textiles for added texture and finished them all off with some Die Cut Elements, Stickers and word stickers.

Dreamer by Lisa Amiet

Hello everybody!
I am so excited and yet so nervous about my first post for 7 Dots Studio!! Today I am going to share a layout that I created using the gorgeous new “Dreamscapes” collection. This layout is titled “Dreamer”.

I have used the beautiful “Under the Covers” 12 x 12 paper for my base. This paper works perfectly with my photo. I have then used pieces of the “Dreamscapes 6 x 6 Paper Pad” that I have distressed together with some of the tags from the “Dreamscapes Tags 12 x 12″ to add layers.

To add some further detail I have used some of the “Dreamscapes Die Cut Elements” and “Dreamscapes Element Stickers” throughout my page. Finally I have used some of the “Dreamscapes Word Stickers” that I have raised for some added dimension.

I hope you like my first project for 7Dots. I am very honoured to have be chosen to be a part of this wonderful team and company!
I can’t wait to see what the other Design Team Members have to share with us.

Sweet Dreams by Lydie Denis

Hello 7 Dots Studios fans, Lilibleu here, and I’m very happy to give you my first project for 7 Dots. I would like to thank Tusia for offering me this opportunity, a dream come true to create for 7 Dots Studio! For this first project, I chose to make a page with the superb Hazy Days collection and to take you into my universe.

I had a big crush for this “Oil Spil” paper which to me fits perfectly with my photo. I first covered it with transparent gesso. I sprayed green ink and water to dilute the colour slightly, before using the pads from the Hazy Days collection. Then, I used the “Chevron Stencil” with a mixture of modeling paste and black paint to create texture.

To create volume, I put several layers of paper and several tags on each other, all from the same Hazy Days collection.

Once all this was glued, I added my decorative elements, I pasted my flowers and I added several embellishments: Element Stickers, Die-cut Elements and Word Stickers still from the Hazy Days collection.

Then I put on the contour of my photo some gel medium in which I added beads of several sizes. Once everything was dry, I made drops with black and white inks.

Well, that’s all for today!
Have a great day. Xoxo Lilibleu.
