Spread your wings by Karine Gagnon

Dear crafty friends,
I’m here today to share a video tutorial I created using the brand new Paint Chips collection. Dee Dee created magic once again! The colors are just amazing!

I chose the beautiful Nightshade 12×12 paper. I created a mixed media background using the Hatched stencil and some graphite texture paste. I also used the Paint Chips Clear Stamps with black ink and with gold embossing powder. I created a paper cluster with papers from the 6×6 pad and tags from the 12×12 Tags.

I decorated my layout with flowers and flair badges. I also added a few chipboard pieces. I used the Paint Chips 6×12 Element Stickers and the Paint Chips 6×12 Die-cut Elements, to add some yellow around my cluster. My title comes from the Northern Lights 6×12 Word Stickers sheet. I thought the colors matched my layout pretty well.

I filmed my process for you to see it.

My Favourite by Fiona Paltridge

Hello my 7 Dots Studio friends. Fiona here with you today to share a little art journal spread I have created using some of the 7 Dots Studio “Dreamscapes” collection.

I simply love the tags that 7 Dots Studio bring out with every collection. i find them so versatile for so many different reasons.

I use them in all of my creations from 12 x12 layouts to art journal pages just like this one”

I love the way they can be placed on a creation anywhere and they make the whole piece just shine!

I find that of all the things I run out of first when creating with 7 Dots Studio collections, it’s always the tags!!! Note to self …… get more 7 Dots Studio tags!   See you all again next month xxx
