Nests by Eirini Tsaima

Hello dear friends and fans of 7 Dots Studio products!!
Just before Easter time, I have two Easter-Spring cards to show you and give you some inspiration. That inspiration came to me a few days ago, from a sweet bird nest I found on my secret garden. Surprisingly, I saw 3 little newborn baby birds in it and I was thrilled!! So close to my hands , that I could reach them. I didn’t, I didn’t want to harm them. I realized how close the Easter time it is and I went straight ahead to create something festive. Spring Easter cards! And here they are.

I used the Cotton Candy Dreams and Homegrown collections 6×6 papers, stickers and chipboards. I also made a small nest myself and added some feathers and eggs made from a mold. Finally I picked some Prima flowers with vivid -spring colours and made some clusters.

That’s all for today and I want to wish to you all Happy Easter!!!
Bless and joy!!

Sea by Eirini Tsaima

Hello dear 7 Dots friends!!
Spring is here and I’m already in such a sunny and happy mood that I’m looking forward to start swimming on and exploring the amazing Greek seas again. Last weekend, the weather was perfectly sunny and warm, so me and my family visited the Port and while I was watching the boats and fishermen I thought ‘Oh I wish I could jump in there and escape for a while!’. This was my inspiration! I found that wonderful photo on Pinterest and I made a little tutorial for you. So let’s get started.

1 First I took a sea themed paper from the Destination Unknown collection and with my Burst and Stars stencils, I added some White Prima Gesso.

2.Then I used some gold mist plus some white pearl and light green Lindy’s Stamp Gang, here and there and dried with the heat gun.

3.Next, I stamped with the – Lost and Found- and- Fortune Teller- clear stamps from 7Dots collection in white and black colors, to create a messy depth on my paper.

4.As my stamps were drying I took my chipboard and paint it in teal colour and created some paper layers with several collections from 7 Dots’s leftovers.

5.I started decorating my pictures, making some clusters and using some Sea Theme chipboards among with little shells and gause. Two flairs from the fortune Teller collection fit perfectly too.

6. Some extra establishments like Mica Gold Flakes by Prima and salt – pepper effects using Soft matte Prima Gel. Some white and black splashes here and there are also necessary to give a soft-balance to the whole work.

7.Finally my title and white gesso on my flowers and tiny details give a harmony and brightness on my lay out.

That’s it! I hope you enjoyed my Sea themed laout and you found some inspiration for your own creations. Greetings from sunny Greece!
See you soon…Love you all… Eirini

Dressmaker by Eirini Tsaima

Hello dear friends!!
Today I will share with you my layout inspired by a movie I saw lately “Dressmaker” made in Australia. The picture I saw on Pinterest reminded me of Kate Winslets fashion style in the movie and the era too.

For this work, I used Writer’s Block papers and tags together with Cotton Candy Dreams word stickers and Die-cut elements. I also used the 7 Dots Studio – Writer’s Block – Numbers Stencil for the background and added some final decoration with the Fortune-teller flairs.

My colours are a bit vivid as I chose teal and orange this time and of course my favourite Finnabair mediums and Prima flowers.
Thank you for your time and I hope you got some daily inspiration!!
