Minialbum by Elena Morgun

Hello everyone!
Today is a special post for me. I am sharing a mini album and it’s the last project I created as 7 Dots designer. These past two and a half years in the Team have been very important and meaningful to me. 7 Dots is my first ‘serious’ team and I am so grateful to Tusia for having faith in me and inviting me to be a part of her wonderful team!
My mini album today is a little unusual. It can be put upright as a photo frame. I had two card bases which I connected with some fabric and I got an accordion album base! It has space for four photos and a cover. I left the other side free for journaling.

I used a lot of scraps. I enjoy working with papers so much!
As the accents I have added some paint through the stencil, some stamping and of course sprinkles!
It’s quite fast to make and can make a nice personalized present.

Supplies used:

7 Dots Studio – Homegrown – pad 6×6
7 Dots Studio – Homegrown – Element Stickers 6×12
7 Dots Studio – Cold Country – Clear Stamps

Layout by Elena Morgun

Hello everyone! Today I would like to share a layout created with homegrown collection.
Gray and pink distressed backgrounds are awesome! It’s my daughter in the photo. It’s taken on the ruins of an old building. This collection was a perfect match with the idea I have had for a long time! I wanted pink color, but not too tender. It’s so rare to find in scrapbook paper.

I added different die cuts and tags. With my Big Shot I die cut the elements from 6by6 pad. The dimension I add with the pieces of chipboard underneath the layers.
The last accents are small embellishments and paints.
Thank you for dropping by!
Happy crafting!
Hugs,
Elena Morgun

Tutorial by Elena Morgun

Hello everyone!
Today Elena Morgun here and I have prepared a mixed media canvas with a step-by-step video tutorial.
I used a new collection and it’s fantastic! Pleasant shabby pink is complemented with a gorgeous gray color. The collection is not only beautiful but also multipurpose.
To make my canvas more interesting I did the image transfer using Soft Gloss Gel. I didn’t need to get a distinct image as a result, because I wanted to created a shabby chic canvas.
There are also texture paste through the stencil and watercolors in the background. Then some layers of lace and papers, small embellishments and flowers.
To unite all the details I added some watercolors and gesso. And the final step’s adding te Flower Soft.

Here is my video:
