Guest Designer – Boldyreva Dasha

Hi everyone! My name is Boldyreva Dasha. I am from Tomsk, Russia. I have been engaged in scrapbooking for year and a half. I was in search for my style for a long time, and then I understood that most of all I like to work with paints, sprays and inks etc. My favourite themes are fairytale, fantasy, forest and my favourite style is definitely the mixed media! That is why I like 7 Dots Studio products so much, they suit ideally for many of my scrapbooking projects! I am very glad to be guest designer for 7 Dots Studio! I want to thank Marina Syskova (the organiser of the “Magic School” project) and Tusia Lech (the main judge of the contest) for that.

I want to show you my mini-album, created from wonderful 7 Dots Studio “Cotton Candy Dreams” Collection. This album is dedicated to my mother. She celebrates her 50th anniversary next month. Despite the age she is still very young in body and soul, and she can be so different!

On every page of the album I wanted to show how amazing she is!

She can be romantic and mysterious,

Sometimes she is mischievous and playful,

She is sensitive and loves nature,

Feminine and refined,

And of course she can be passionate and femme fatale.

I have crafted the album from the papers, die-cut elements, tags, element stickers and word stickers of 7 Dots Studio! Cotton Candy Dreams is the universal collection, from which I could express completely different moods on every page. I tried to make the cover of the same colour spectrum as the papers from the set. I drew it, using the alcohol inks, and 7 dots studio elements and word stickers wonderfully complemented it.

Guest Designer – Irina Teeshoom

Hello, My name is Irina Teeshoom. Sometimes I’m a big introvert, but sometimes I’m a crazy laughter. Venturesome scrapbooker with a free and crazy style. Scrapbooking for me is an art therapy and the way to express and find myself in everyday routine. It’s just enough for me to have some papers and paints to engage myself into my favourite meditative hobby.

7 Dots Studio products always inspire me to try something mixed media but keep my style at the same time.
The winter is coming. Our winter came much sooner this year. It’s all covered with snow and it looks like winter holidays are somewhere around. It really feels like New Year spirit is here. So I decided to make some holiday layouts.
First one is about holiday deer that brings us the holiday mood. He has come from a fairytale or a child’s dream.
The second layout is about Winter Whale, who is in the colours of Christmas tree. I put some flowers on his back to decorate him and make him look really holiday looking.
Both pages have child’s dreams about holiday spirit in common.

Jaya – second project from our Guest Designer

Hello friends!
Jaya here today with a new layout I created for 7Dots Studio. I used both the Fortune teller and Homegrown collection for this one.

Some close ups-

I used the Fortune teller tags as layers under the picture with some cheesecloth and wire thread.

I absolutely the Fortune teller clear stamp. The feather image is my favourite. Here I stamped it with versamark ink and then heat embossed it in gold embossing powder. I fussy cut two such images and used them on my page

I layered some tags and images from Fortune Teller-Tarot 12″x 12″ and 6×6″” inch paper pad. These images are so versatile and just amazing to work with.
I think these images went well with the picture.

List if supplies-

Homegrown – Happy 12″x12″
Fortune teller 6″X6″ paper
Fortune teller stencil- Splatter
Fortune teller clear stamp
Fortune teller Tags
Fortune teller word stickers
Fortune teller Die cut elements
Fortune teller element stickers
Thoughts keeper clear stamp

Hope you like it :)
