Hello Everyone, It’s Yasmin here on the blog today and I’m so glad to be back for my final post here as a Guest DT member. I have a layout with a tutorial to share with you, playing with my ultimate favorite 7dots Studio collection “Lost and Found”.

I’ve also added some pieces from some of the other collections like fuzzy cutting out images from the “Domestic Goddess” collection.

I’ve used some modeling paste, stenciling, watercolor confections and stamping to create my background. Would you like to see my creative prosess on this layout please check out the video below.

July Guest Designer – Yasmin Toelche

Hello! My name is Yasmin Tölche. I’m a Norwegian girl born in 1980. Mom to three awesome boys, Felix, Collin and Finnley. I’m happily married to Kristian and together we live in a small mountain village in Kyrksæterøra, Norway with our Rottweiler, Penny. All of the above is victim of my scrapbook obsession.

I currently work for a scrapbook store in Norway doing postings online. I see myself as a fun girl with a good sense of humor and creativity. I started scrapbooking in August 2005. I came across this hobby totally by accident when I was at a friends house. I’ve always loved to cut and paste pictures in albums and doing some type of scrapbooking on a low level. But it was in 2005 when i really got into it. I’m what you call an all around scrapper. I do everything from cards, mini albums, altered projects and layouts. I love scrapping pages with paints, mist and getting my hands messy. I don’t think i have a definite style, I do everything from vintage to inky and painted projects. Love layers.. lots and lots of layers..

I’m so excited to be a guest designer for 7dots Studio, one of my favorite companies in the industry!

“Smile – Layout”

I’m so excited to share with you my first project as a guest designer. I’ve played with the bight and happy “Verano Azul” collection among with the “Illumination” collection. Both collections are gorgeous and work really well with these types of layouts and cards.

I love this picture of my littlest son Finnley. He was playing in my new garbage can witch is bright pink. (When you live in a house with just boys, you need some pink in your life!) The Verona Azul collection was perfect for my photo. Keeping it pastelly blue for those boy layouts and adding that touch of pink.

I used the 6×6″ Verano Azul paper pad to create more papers and texture behind my photo. I cut out pieces of some Illumination papers and tags to add a bit more layers to my layout.

I’ve used to sets of stamps on my page and you can find those in the “Illumination” and the “Thoughts Keeper” stamp sets. They worked perfectly for my page. The background work is a stencil with modeling paste and working with Ecoline watercolors on top of the stenciling.

My favorite 7 Dots Studio product has to be the word and sentiment stickers. They are perfect for ANY layout or card. I’ve added a couple to my layout.
