Layouts featuring ATC’s by Louise Nelson

Today Louise would like to share with you two, 6 x 12 layouts, however they didn’t start out that way. Louise began by creating ATC’s and then changed her mind, but so as not to waste what she had already partially created, she mounted the ATC’s on to the 6 x 12 about backgrounds. She also cropped her photos to the same size as the ATC’s to coordinate the look. Both layouts feature the wonderful Dreamscapes and Hazy Days collections.

Boo! by Juliya Tirskaya

Hello everybody!
I really love Gothic and terrifying stories. Therefore, in anticipation of Halloween, I always do, with great pleasure, a gloomy layout.

I created this layout using the Hazy Days collection. I really love this grungy feel of the collection. It gives tremendous contrast and depth!

For the first time I used very little decor, mostly the transitions of color, stamps and toppings. I do not want to cover the paper with a decor, I want to admire the transitions of color.

Boo! :)

Art is life by Fiona Paltridge

Hello my gorgeous 7 Dots friends, Fiona here with you today to share a process video on an art journal page I have made for you all.

I made a double page spread with a hessian inclusion. This is one of my new journals and I’m just loving the varied papers and textures in it.

I attached some tags from the 12×12 sheet to the hessian inclusion piece using a stapler and then they became a part of the design and almost another whole page of its own.

I added some abstract style painting over the whole page including on the inclusion. I love being random when I paint.

I created some little feature pieces using both the element stickers and the die cut elements. These are great little embellishments for your projects.

Sit back and enjoy the process video. You will be able to watch the layer upon layer process that I took to create this fun piece of art. I’ll see you all again very soon xx
