Anchors Away – Mixed Media Altered Wooden Anchor by Keren Tamir

I love creating beach themed projects, they are some of my favourite things to create. Today I altered a wooden anchor home decor using the 7 Dots Studio Destination Unknown collection. This collection of course is perfect for this theme and I’ve used it many times for this theme. I wanted the anchor to look as if it had sunk many years ago in the ocean and got covered in algae, molluscs, barnacles, shells and starfish. I used real shells and starfish to embellish as well as chipboard pieces from the same collection.

Below is my step by step video tutorial:

Secret Words – Art Journaling Page by Keren Tamir

I created a mixed media textured art journaling page with a step by step video tutorial for the 7 Dots Studio blog. The unique thing about this journal is the hidden messages underneath. I used word stickers from different collections and stuck them underneath my composition.

Check out my video below to see how I created this page:

Dandelion Wishes by Keren Tamir

I created a set of 6 ATC’s using the Cotton Candy Dreams collection.

I added layers of texture in the background using inks, gel, stencils and stamps. The focal point on each card was created with the chipboard pieces from the same collection. The stalks for the dandelions were created with the poppy stencil from the Homegrown collection. Watch the video below to see how I created these Artist Trading Cards.
