Star by Sanderijn de Bruin

Hi everybody!
I created a mixed media layout for you. It’s been a while but I had so much fun, using sunny colours and a some elements of fall. I have used the gorgeous paper from the Dreamscapes collection.

I started with clear gesso on the paper, to give the paper more strenght to hold the inks and other mixed media supplies. Next I added the star stencil pattern with light paste mixed with iridiscent gold mica powder. When everything has dried i added some stamping with Hazy Days grungy clear stamps, my all time favorite text clear stamp from the Homegrown collection and a butterfly stamp.

Next I started building my page with cheese cloth, tags, die-cut elements, flowers, chipboard, flairs and word stickers. I added yellow embossing powder on all the pieces of the chipboard. Some splattering with yellow and black inks, and my page was finished.

Layouts featuring ATC’s by Louise Nelson

Today Louise would like to share with you two, 6 x 12 layouts, however they didn’t start out that way. Louise began by creating ATC’s and then changed her mind, but so as not to waste what she had already partially created, she mounted the ATC’s on to the 6 x 12 about backgrounds. She also cropped her photos to the same size as the ATC’s to coordinate the look. Both layouts feature the wonderful Dreamscapes and Hazy Days collections.

Boo! by Juliya Tirskaya

Hello everybody!
I really love Gothic and terrifying stories. Therefore, in anticipation of Halloween, I always do, with great pleasure, a gloomy layout.

I created this layout using the Hazy Days collection. I really love this grungy feel of the collection. It gives tremendous contrast and depth!

For the first time I used very little decor, mostly the transitions of color, stamps and toppings. I do not want to cover the paper with a decor, I want to admire the transitions of color.

Boo! :)
