Way to the stars by Olya Kravets

Hello 7 Dots Studio friends! Today with you Olya Kravets and my new inspiration!
Have you already seen new collections? They are very cool and inspiring! As soon as I got them, I immediately sat down at the table and began to create a page. I’m always the first to do a layout. Here you can enjoy the paper, feel its mood and there is great freedom to be creative. I was very inspired by the collection “Paint Chips”. It is juicy, positive and artistic. I made a project for my little dreamer!

For my project, I took a Paint Chips – Clover sheet of paper. Then I added the tags and compiled the main composition. In the photo, my girl shows up to the sky and I decided to continue this theme and create stars and planets. For this, I used a chipboard and beautiful Stickers and Die-cut Elements from this collection

To create a background, I used products from Finnabair. Textured paste – Black sand and White sand. I put them through the stencil “Paint Chips – Hatched Stencil” and butterflies from Prima.

Here are my favorite layers from different materials. I also used a beautiful chipboard and covered it with powder for embossing. For the background I added a bit of color with sprays and acrylic paints, and also used stamps Northern Lights and Yuletide – Clear Stamps.

I hope you liked my project and I was able to inspire you! Join us and admire the new amazing collections! Believe me, you will immediately adore them. I wish you many creative days and inspiration!
With love, Olya

November Challenge: Favourite Animal or Pet

Animals, humans faithful companions, pets and best friends. Not only do they bring joy into our lives but are magnificent creatures. That’s why this month we want you to capture the beauty of your favourite animals or pets in your projects. So, get busy scrapping and share with us your animal friends.

Here is the inspiration from our team:

Hello everyone! This month we have such a good challenge which gives so many possibilities to create! I was inspired by this photo and it`s colour pallet. Green and red – such a beautiful combo! I was using Dreamscapes paper collection and tags. My main paper sheet for background is Chestnuts from Yuletide paper collection and word stickers from Fortune-teller. Wish you a lot of inspiration, Nadya.

For our cute challenge, the animals were chosen by my daughter. She is very fond of foxes and cats. And it’s a layout for her! I really wanted to do something sweet and natural. I like to use the “Dreamscapes” collection for forest projects. It always inspires me! I hope you also love this collection, like me!

On this challenge I took a photograph of the cat. There are two cats in my house who like to turn the house upside down. And on the page I collected their favourite toys: a bell, coils of wool and paper. They just adore paper! Our sweet cats.

This layout is about our new pug puppy Lucy, who has recently joined our family. She is so tiny and cute and is our little princess. She will be a very pampered pup. I have used a mix of the Hazy Days and Homegrown collections for this layout. I have also used some of the Dreamscapes stamps.

I love the different animals: cats, dogs, and raccoons… as a child I always asked my mom to get a kitten, but she didn’t allow one. And then when I got married, my husband once brought a cat! It was a tiny red lump that couldn’t even feed himself. I fed him milk from a pipette, and cared for him like a child. Now I live with three cats and a big German shepherd. With great pleasure I would get another dog and a couple cats, but now my husband doesn’t allow that :)

For November’s Challenge Louise has created a Tag showcasing a photo of her fave four legged friend, ‘Finn’, [a friends dog]. He is a bit of a ratbag but totally loveable!!! :)

I created a layout featuring our cute dog Cookie. He is not only cute but his fur is white as snow so I thought it would be perfect to create a layout full of snowflakes that match his fur. I used the Verano Azul collection for the background as well as some of the tags. I framed the photo in the Hazy days chipboard frame and used some of the chipboard stars to decorate.

When I heard about the theme of this challenge, I immediately thought about Butterflies! I think butterflies are the most gracious animal, aren’t they? So I decided to create a special mixed media canvas for this challenge. I used crackle paint and modeling paste through 7 DOTS STUDIO stencil for the background and added different layers with Fortune-teller‘s tags, Die-cuts and stickers from different collections. The words stickers are from the new collection Nothern Lights.

My favourite animal is my dog, Mister Cookie (Monsieur Biscuit in French). It is my most faithful companion. I use the Dreamscapes collection to make my layout. This collection is so versatile that you can use it for a very soft creation as much as something more striking. And you? what is your favourite animal?

Hope by Olya Kravets

Hello lovely 7 Dots Studio friends! Today with you Olya Kravets and my new inspiration! I’m most inspired by books and new materials! Now I know for sure. And this time I was inspired by the very beautiful history of Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden. This book is about the power of hope and faith. And no matter how difficult it was in life, you always need to remain a kind and good person. A book about a difficult fate and a beautiful love story.

And for my project, I chose several of my favourite 7 Dots Studio collections. I used “Dreamscapes” and “Fortune-teller”. I took several sheets for the basis and contrasts from the collection “Dreamscapes”: Cloudy and Twinkle. And I also used mystical elements from the collection “Fortune-teller” – Soul. And of course I added my favourite tags. To create a background, I used products from Lindy’s and Finnabair and of course a lot of interesting topping and metal elements. And among the decor you can find cute letters and the word “Hope”

I want to wish you more to believe in yourself, to love life and to be kinder. Kindness will save this World, I believe in it. Look for inspiration around, create with love and let every day be happy. Thank you for stopping by. I really hope that you liked it and I was able to inspire you.

With love, Olya
