One day with Louise!

A few years ago I had a photo shoot done with an amazing photographer friend [Danielle Quarmby- Curiouser Photography] What I particularly loved about many of the photos that she took was that many of them were of me being ‘reflective’. I love having a variety of reflective type photos of myself that I can use to scrap and record particular moments in my day to day life.

I have chosen to use photos of the alter flowers from my godsons spring wedding. They were beautiful tall arrangements of Australian native flowers. The 7 Dots Studio Elise Rebel – Imperfect patterned paper complimented them beautifully.

On this first layout I have really worked on layering! Lots and lots of layers with papers from Wonderland collection and other small bits of scraps. The photo is my youngest daughter at a Chinese restaurant last year, playing with some small “umbrellas”.
I cut out one of the pattern papers as a “cross” with the photo in the center and with 3D-dots. Love how it turned out!
Used some clear gesso on the background together with stencils and inks from Art Anthology.

This layout is a totally different layout. I love how the different collection give me different kind of inspiration.
So this one I wanted to make a bit more clean and simple.
Some bits of paperstrips and some gesso and stencils.

Take a chance

Inspiration form Irene!

For this layout, I’m trying to avoid using any flowers to embellish. I’ve been using flowers on almost all my projects and I think it would be fun create a layout without flowers. Therefore, I’ve had tons of chipboards on this layouts instead. It’s easy to blend these chipboards into the artsy papers in the Dreamer collection. Just use some coordinating mist and paints and you’re set!

Layout: Treasure

4) Wonderland ~ White Rabbit Alpha Sticker 6 x 12

This is another layout which I called a “scene” layout. I’ve used the subject of this layout as part of a scene which I’m trying to create. To create some depth and textures on the background, I’ve done some masking, stamping and gesso stenciling. To add some focus on the subject, I’ve colored some bright colors to part of it with markers.
