Air Mail Tags by Olya Kravets

Hello 7 Dots Studio lovers!
Today with you Olya and my new inspiration and step-by-step video tutorial for you!
I created a mixed media tags with a beautiful and stylish “Air Mail” collection. Even a small part of this collection is enough for inspiration and decoration of your project! And I want to show how easy it is to do!

I wanted to play with contrast in my project. So first I created a dark and mixed media background for my tags. I used products from beloved Finnabair. I covered the paper base with Heavy Gesso – Black and then applied the Texture Paste – Graphite through the “Dreamscapes – Geometry” stencil. I love this stencil, it’s really my favourite and most versatile! It’s suitable for any project!

Then I added some color with Impasto Paints, Acrylic Paints and Sprays. I like to mix and enjoy the process. When the background is almost ready, I begin to compose the composition. I took small sheets from the collection, also stickers and tags. I compose a three-dimensional and multi-layered composition of many parts

I added lace and metal elements to make my layers more interesting. Next I decorate with Art Stones and apply a little paint to create a whole from the decor. I used new waxes from Re-Design with Prima to select a texture. In the end, I add glitter and micro beads and a little more of my love! And a few more details on the photo
