April 2018 Challenge
We’re three challenges into our Moodboards. This time we have something different waiting for you to discover. For this inspiration we want you to think of deep blues and vibrant pinks and purples. Gorgeous flowers, night skies, northern lights, elegant home décor and magical walks through the park. Let the images and the colours sink in and express what comes to your mind in a projects for us.
Join our Challenge and create any projects inspired by the Moodboard. You can make layouts, tags, ATC, canvases, collages, art-journals, off the page projects and more. When I saw this moodboard, I was so captivated by the colours! Wow! I LOVE those colours together, as they are so rich. I’ve always loved a dark blue with a dark purple! That’s my main inspiration for this layout. I decided to work with Northern Lights, as this collection features some beautiful purples and violet to go perfectly with this challenge.
This mood board reminds of spring in fresh and bright color palette. I was inspired by the teal and purple colours and all the gorgeous flowers from the moodboard.
I have used Writers block collection for my layout, the black and white paper makes the perfect backdrop for my colourful layout.
For this layout I used the Northern Lights collection that is perfect for playing with the new challenge combo! I used the amazing Frayed Knot paper for my background and added colours with Finnabair’s Metallique Paint. I used tags and stickers from different collections for layering.
Hello friends! I’m in love with our new board. I made the canvas with intense and contrasting liquid splashes. I used paper from the “Paint Chips” collection and my favourite word stickers. They’re perfect for all projects.
This spring time I’d like to recall the beauty of nature. And here my project is about fine pieces of natural beauty. My canvas is on a black background with interesting textures and shining colours. We have an absolutely gorgeous moodboard this month! I just fell in love with the colours! And I wanted to play with an inspirational collection “Northern Lights”. Hello everyone! This month we have very beautiful Mood board! Actually purple is not my favourite colour, but I really like colour combo of purple+teal or purple +green. I decided to make a canvas, it is mostly dark, but with bright and spring elements. I took the sheet of paper from Yuletide collection, I love the wooden texture of it and added a little bit of Northern lights papers and die-cut elements. Also I prepared a video-tutorial for you, hope you will like it. Wish you a lot of inspiration.
Another new mood board and such gorgeous colours. I had a photo that I aged and altered and thought how perfect it would be to match the board along with the Northern Lights Collection.
