Erin makes art-journal and we have a challenge winner

In creating this art journal page, I was inspired to try my hand at drawing and watercolor painting, prompted by this beautiful photo found here on Pinterest. It’s been many years since I have really drawn anything (outside of goofy pictures for the kids’ entertainment!) so I was a bit intimidated. But after sketching it out, I then set upon painting a bit with watercolors which was a whole other journey in itself. Still not happy, I discovered some beautiful papers from the “Dreamer” collection and thought they would be perfect in bringing the old wooden trunk to life! It took a bit of patience in getting the lines correct, but in the end it’s the papers that made all the difference on this page!
