Blue Fern Studio sketch and 7 Dots Studio papers

Hi everyone…Sandi here today to share a couple of projects using some awesome 7 Dots collections. This month, 7 Dots has joined up with Blue Fern Studios and I have to say that these two make an awesome combination!!

My first layout is of my sweet girl using the 9th wave collection and is based on this months Blue Fern sketch..

And here is the gorgeous sketch…

I applied a layer of gesso underneath my photo and added texture using ribbons and trims and did some stamping using some awesome stamps from Viva Las VegaStamps…love them!!!I also added a few stickers from both the 9th Wave and Messy Head Element sheets. I added some color with a few shades of glimmermist and gelatos and voila…all done. Here are a few closeups

Now…onto to the Blue fern chippies. I used the “You Shine ” chippie from the Optimist word set for my title and you can see the Bridgette Butterfly and the Natural sprigs all tucked in my flower cluster. I also cut up the “Bits of Honey” and layered underneath my photo. I left the chippies raw except for a few brushes of gesso.

OK…onto my second layout.

Sunshine

For this one, I combined several 7 Dots collections as they all compliment each other so well. My background paper is from Messy head but you will all see some Domestic Goddess and Love is in The Air tucked in here and there.

I backed the Blue fern Clock Chippie with “All is love” paper and gave all the chippies and coat of gesso and added color with gelatos. I also jumped on the microbead bandwagon and added them in random places all over my layout.
