Love riding – Keren Tamir
“Love Riding”
My daughter loves horses and this summer she attended Horse back riding camp. This picture was taken on visitors day. She loved showing off what she could do, although she was a little hesitant and scared.
I really wanted to create an earthy feel to my layout because its about my daughter riding a horse. I tried to use earthy tones from the Domestic Goddess collection. I combined brown, yellow and orange to create a feel of love and homeyness as she loves horses more than any animal in the world.
I layered leftover scraps and tags from the Domestic Goddess collection along with some mixed media techniques.

“Starstruck”
I used the Messy Head collection to create a funky and cool layout about my daughter meeting her idol Selena Gomez.
I use lots of mixed media products because I wanted the layout to look messy yet striking. The Messy Head collection was perfect to achieve this look.
I added lots of different types of stars: masked stars, stamped stars, chipboard ones and even metal brads. I wanted to connect the theme of the title Starstruck, which is what my daughter felt that day, with all the elements of the page. I believe I was able to achieve that.
