Play with the golden sand
One of the best memories I collect from last summer is the days we spent with my DH’s sister, who travelled a long way from Toronto, Canada to visit us with her 2 chlidren. The cousins loved their time together… one of their favourite pastime was playing with the sand at the beach and building castles. We appreciated a lot too, because that gave us the parents to relax under the sun and enjoy our time together.
Now the 9th Wave collection is all about the sea, isn’t it? That’s why I pulled the “Stormy Sea” paper to use for my background… I added lots of sea shells to give texture to my page and stress the sea theme of my page!

One thing I love to do lately when scrapping is mix and match elements. Some of this, some of that and so on. I think it’s a good way to use stash that has been stored for a long time as well as to see how textures and materials interact. This page is the result of my mixing and matching paper, mesh, flowers, chipboard, die-cuts, gesso and ecoline colours. A bit of everything, that is.
