I love one of the quotes from the Messy Head collection: “just close your eyes and amazing things will happen”. I always want my daughter to know that dreams are possible and that sometimes she just has to close her eyes and imagine the possibilities. Thats why I added “& always dream” at the end of the quote.

I created this layout using the Messy Head collection. The bright fuchsia colours make me feel so alive and happy. I added splatters of colour and then textured stamping using one of the stamps from the Illumination collection.

Love & Gratitude- Book Journal

I created this Love & Gratitude Journal for a very good friend as a gift for her Birthday. I altered this blank notebook I bought at the dollar store. I covered the covers with one of the Messy Head papers. Then I added some stencilling and colouring to create a textured background. Finally I layered the front cover with some small left-over paper pieces from the collection, some flowers, and some embellishments.

I’ve designed a few of these journals over the past few months. I love creating them for those special people in my life. Not only are they made with love but they are also a personal token from me. They are perfect for their gratitude thoughts. They can jot down their thankful feelings inside and be reminded of them every single day.
