Ebony and Helen
I have another layout to share with you, and this time it is a little bit different to my usual style!
I usually add lot’s of bright colours to my layouts but this time I wanted to challenge myself to use more muted, natural tones, but still with a pop of colour!
I began with the gorgeous paper from the “Love is in the air range called I must believe”.
I loved the golden tones with the hint of aqua. I added many layers of tags and frames and book paper to create an interesting background, mixed with both tea stain and gesso, plus stamps and doodling.
Products I have used :
Love is in the air : I must believe
Nature walk: word stickers
Nature walk: tags 12×12
Nature walk: clear stamps
All I ever: 6×12 stickers
All I ever: elements 12 x12

Hello to you all! I hope you are well!!
Today I share with you my monthly project – a layout created using the Cold Country collection.
I used “Lost Letter” patterned paper as my base paper.
Wow, these papers are so versatile. The subtle script designs & the vignetted edges make these my first choice often.
I used gesso & Izinks on my background, together with Cold Country Collection stamps.
I also tucked in some Cold Country Elements stickers around my cluster.
The cool colours of this neutral collection lend themselves really well to the popular 2014 lilac tones.
I also used quite a number of Cold Country Word stickers beneath my photo, as an extension of my title, too.
Absolutely LOVE this collection & so glad I made the time to really “play”with it this month ( I used it for my 7 Dots Challenge layout too!).
I hope you will give it a go if you haven’t already! It is one of those collections that will be TIMELESS!!
See you all again next month! HELEN
