Tusia Lech and Helen Tilbury

Hello everyone 🙂

I created a layout about my everyday life 🙂 I have used newest collections – Destination Unknown and Soulmates. They matched each other perfectly!

I used Damask Mask from Soulmates collection to create background pattern and I added some stamping.

I mixed Soulmates and Destination Unknown paper elements to create layers under the photo.

Hello everyone, Helen here with you today, sharing a layout created with LOTS of Cold Country papers, stamps, die-cuts, chipboard & stickers!

I also used alpha stickers from ‘All I Ever’ {large} & ‘Domestic Goddess’ {small} collections for my title ‘Brothers Always’.

I even used the 12” shiny cover sheet from the collection pack as my photo mat & for some of my paper layers!

I raised my photo up on some foam tape so that I could tuck lots of layers of torn paper underneath it to add dimension.

I love the die-cuts & stickers with all of their different shapes & juxtaposing them close together for a layered effect without bulk.

I began this piece by stencilling using hard modelling paste through an UmWow Studios Brick Wall mask, then sprinkled with 2 different tones of blue embossing powder, whilst still wet.

I even used the ‘negative’ areas of the chipboard, inked with black archival ink, rather than throwing them away, as their shapes worked well with this ‘collage style’ layout.

I thought the images of the Gentlemen in the die-cuts worked well with the masculine feel of my page, about my 2 teenage sons, who are fast growing up into young gentlemen themselves!
