Aaaah, using elements from a taylor’s drawer is so much fun! I used buttons, an old zipper cut into portions to place in random places on the page, a template for fabric cutting as the circle mask in the background, and then used snaps to embellish along with paints, gel, and molding paste. This is my adorable niece, Kenzie, and I think she is just too cute for words, so of course I used the more cutesy line – Elise Rebel. Torn bits of paper in grey’s and oranges were exactly what would draw this photo out, and I had a bit of fun playing with the sticker embellishents also. Not only did I use the polka dot sticker border, but I cut out its frame from the sticker sheet and used that up to! (Those are the thin bits of polka dot strips on the page.

In the taylor’s drawer I found a lot of inspiring, interesting “little treasures” which made me do this small notebook. I used buttons, pins, belt buckle, elastic band and a bit of lace too. I also decided to add stitching made with sweing machina and by free hand, to underline the inspiration with taylor’s work.
