Elena Olinevich and DeeDee Catron

I like when Christmas cards look different from what you normally prefer to see. I took 2 collections Nature Walk and Cold Country, combined them, also used some leftovers and scraps and here you go with 3 different cards.
For my third card I used a picture I found on Pinterest and decided to create something rustical with a wooden background too.
Products used:
Nature Walk collection 6*6 paper pad

Hi everyone 🙂 DeeDee here today to inspire you for Christmas! It’s surely on everyone’s minds. I have really been adoring the home decor that’s circulating lately. And I dream of making my house feel warm n cozy while celebrating everything that’s happening around us. So, I’ve been taking a few classes here n there to help get inspired! One that I took was “Spark Your Christmas 2015” by Margie Romney-Aslett and this gal is a GENIUS. Through her class I was SPARKED to create a beautiful tree scene.
I’ve had a lot of fun gathering supplies, going through old supplies, and finding bits n bobs to put this whole thing together. I’ve used Bottle Brush trees, mercury glass, ornaments, miniature train trees and more to bring this whole scene together.
I even created the stand that it sits on from two pieces of vintage dinnerware.
But the best part was creating this delicious cone tree as the center of attention. The entire tree is made of stamped pieces of Destination Unknown 6×6 pages of the solid distressed turquoise paper.
I stamped the Viva Las VegaStamps! stamp all over four sheets in black archival ink by Ranger. Then I cut them out and layered them over a cone. This tree was truly inspired by Margie as she has some beautiful cone trees covered in actual tickets. BUT I needed a turquoise one to match my Holiday Decor — thank goodness for stamps and paper!
It’s been tied at the top with a selection of ribbon, old atlas paper, and some jingle bells. Following are a few close up details and the product list, thanks for joining me!
