I worked with the “Destination Unknown” for this layout. I particularu love this collection because we can find co,trasts os colors so amazing and that is for me very interesting. I love work with contrasts. As you can see, on my photo too , i love to create contrast of color, and when i see the dark blue indigo near to the light cream, my inspiration was already here !
First i’ve made a collage with different colors of papers. I use gesso to give more light on my layout, and modeling paste with the Soulmates mask too (Damask mask).

I use just a little embellishments for my layout. i choose some floral chipboards embellishments (“Illumination “collection), those one bring also light, so i decided to leave them natural only pain, or ink. I love the blue Indigo from this collection, and i wanted to accentate this color by introducing some other ouch of blue. Here and there, i added some touch of blue liquid ink.

I also decided to work simply, because this background (“Walk the Plank”) is already very beautiful with these fine lines in all directions, I did’t want to make a complex layout.
I had a real pleasure to work with this collection, because i love to work with blue, white and dark color, i hope you also like this layout !

Hello Sweeties

First I wanted to wish you a happy New Year to all the 7 Dots Studio fans.

This is my first layout for 7 Dots Studio in this New Year with the best known of the Machines de l’Ile in Nantes: the elephant.

I started by gluing a piece of Gray Day on my background paper and I covered everything with clear Gesso. When dry, I added a design with black Gesso and a stencil, then some colors with spray inks and finaly, clear crackle paste.
