Hello again 7 Dots Fans! HELEN here with you today & I am happy to say that it is Tutorial Time!

Today I am going to show you how to make an interesting & unique layout using 7 Dots Studio, Destination Unknown, papers, stickers & stamps.

You will also need some sharp scissors, suitable for fussy-cutting. I love the Tim Holtz Tonic scissors for this job as they have serrated blades so really grip to your papers & ensure perfect accuracy.

To add some colour you will need some mists and inks. Your favourite brand will do!

You can find the whole collection of “Destination Unknown” HERE on the 7 Dots Studio Website. Although it is a nautical collection it can be used in so many different ways. You can see HERE  how I have used the meaning of the title ‘’Riding the wave together” to tie the title in with the theme of the collections.

I used a small inkpad to darken the edges of the papers in my paper stack & gelatos & Pitt pens to outline all my elements, but you can achieve the same type of effect with any pens, pastels or inks that you have on hand. If you don’t have specialised blending tools triangular cosmetic sponges work great too!

Background Paper – Destination Unknown – Journey
Fussy-cut pieces – Destination Unknown – Night Sky
Punched Circles – Destination Unknown – Journey
Journaling Labels – Destination Unknown – Travel Bag
Stickers – Destination Unknown – Element Stickers
Stamps – Destination Unknown – Clear Stamps

And there you have it! A layout full of energy from Destination Unknown Collection HERE!

So much Mixed Media fun to be had with these products!!

As you can see, no puckering or warping to be had – these papers are thick & strong & the designs are very versatile!

I hope you have enjoyed my tutorial today & hopefully I have inspired you to try something new!

See you soon, on the 25th of Feb, when I will be joining you again with my monthly share 🙂
