Hi everyone,
I have a layout to share with you today. I am currently in the process of cleaning and packing up my scrap space to move house. So lately I have been challenging myself to use up all the little bits and pieces that I have floating around in my 7 Dots pile.
I began this layout with a background that my daughter helped me with! She is loving using all my Heidi Swapp Color shine sprays at the moment so I gave her a little journal to play on. Once she had finished with the stencils I would carefully rub the excess onto pieces of white cardstock. They created some awesome backgrounds like this one!
I have added some sewing and some white gesso to the background. I then have used the various elements to embellish my layout, even the left over pieces from my element pieces that i have already used!!
Products used:
Domestic Goddess: 12×12 stickers
Thoughts keeper: stamps
All I ever: sweet sunrise 6×12 alpha stickers
Illumination: elements 6×12, element stickers 6×12
Hi everyone! Today I share with you a Shabby Chic – Mixed Media page that I made with the beautiful Soulmates collection. I worked with the pink and beige colors of this collection.
I started my page cutting two pieces of paper in “V” shape of the “Not about labels” and “Maybe today” papers.
I applied a coat of gesso and painted with Chalkboard Paint then I gave textures with molding paste and the damask mask.
I’m using the Soulmates chipboard and the 6 x 12 Die-cuts Elements in today’s project.
I used the Soulmates’ stamps to create textures around the photo and around the design of my layout.
I had so much fun working with different mediums to create layers and textures in my background.
