Helen Tilbury and Irina Gerschuk
Hello everyone! HELEN here again today to share with you a new invention! A layered canvas!! I have been creating these lately because I love the dimension of them & one day I thought…if you can layer papers then why not canvases?!
So I glued 3 canvases together using hot glue with my glue gun.
Then set about painting them, stamping, collaging & finally, finishing off with gelatos. I hope you enjoy my creation!
I wanted to create something strong & passionate, to match this quote (one of my favourites!) which I already had, printed out in black. So I chose one of my favourite 7 Dots Collections DREAMER here.
I attached a real door handle, a vintage one sent to me by a friend in America, who enjoys thrifting. So I made this canvas for her & it is already on it’s way. I hope she really likes it & it inspires her!
I used 7 Dots Stamps from the Illumination Collection HERE. As you can see these stamps are PERFECT for backgrounds!
I also used my favourite text stamp from Cold Country HERE.
I used the circles from the “Drive all Night”paper & collage pasted them around my background once I had painted & misted. Then I emphasized them with gelatos.
If you are looking to create a dramatic creation then the Dreamer Collection is a great one to choose!
See you again next time xx
Helen
Supplies list:
Dreamer – Drive All Night
Cold Country – Clear Stamps
Illumination – Clear Stamps
I’ve created a card with a volume composition in a marine style. The Destination Unknown collection is just perfect for this style! I’ve used different UWS chipboards to highlight the theme. I’ve colored them with different embossing powders and acrylic paints. I’ve used the Destination Unknown mask with bubbles to add some texture to the background. And as a zest I’ve added some natural shells and beads to the composition.
Products used:
– Destination Unknown – 6×6 pad
– Destination Unknown – mask
– Destination Unknown – flair
– UWS chipboards(coral, mermaid, stars, net)
