September challenge

Holiday has ended – Northern Hemisphere is preparing for Autumn. Our this month challenge is not about autumn, but it is about preserving memories, and usually after summer we have lots of memories to be preserved 🙂 The theme of our September-October challenge is Frame It.
Here is inspiration from our Design Team:
In a few days we’ll say good bye to the summer and we’ll welcome the autumn. I must admit, that I prefer the summer time, so for our new challenge I framed one of my summer memories – beautiful Baltic Sea. I do really hope, that the next summer will come very, very soon. For my project I used beautiful, summery new collection – Verano Azul
I have created my layout from different collections 7 Dots Studio and I have used a picture of my nephew.
I have used chipboard frame and resin frames and framed photo, papers and tags.
This frame from collection of Yuletide, reminds me of the fabulous New Year’s days.
Too often, our lives are transformed into a set of specific actions for each day. The days are alike. Looking back, we are beginning to regret it. But life is given to us once and we can not restart it. Enjoy life to the fullest! Here and now! Be happy! Be free! You are not photo – live without frames!
I’ve made a lo about sweet summer time. Amazing Verano Azur collection help me to show you this mood and feeling of freedom. I want to frame this time for all year.
Louise has taken a very simple approach to this months theme of frames. She has quite literally drawn frames around her photo, using a string dipped in black Indian ink.
I have been working on this project with excitement, canvas is always a challenge!
I was inspired by the frames in a number of ways in this page. I framed my photo, I drew a frame around the page and added frame like patterns to the background as well. I even framed al the paper layers used in my page!
The page is about a wintery tradition – Santa Claus usually brings tickets to the Disney on Ice event and then we attend the show in the beginning of the new year.
For the Frame-it challenge I decided, rather than use an actual frame embellishment on my layout, or create a frame using paper, that I would just think “frame it!” whilst I was creating! So as I was designing my page I was using 7 Dots Sentiment Die-cuts to “frame” my composition. Keeping all my elements in the centre of the page also helped re-inforce the “Frame It” theme.
