January challenge – Industrial Theme

Hello 🙂

We have a new load of inspiration for you 🙂 This month challenge – Industrial Theme. Here are projects from our Design Team:

As you can see Louise has taken a very simple and minimalist approach to the theme ‘Industrial’. She has also created a ‘peek-a-boo’ embellishment arrangement with the chipboard element and her photo, something just a little bit different and ‘stark’ not unlike some industrial buildings.

I was browsing through my photos thinking what to use when I happened to come across this photo of two Lego figures my husband got me. As Lego is one of the biggest toy manufacturers I though the topic would go nicely to the challenge! I used also industrial looking details in my page to heighten the mood.

Some pages from my art journal inspired by Alice in Wonderland.
I used beautiful and magic ‘Wonderland’ collection.

Industrial heart

Both romantic and mechanical – that is my heart! I used the papers from wonderful Dreamer and Yuletide collections. The latter is so versatile that it would be used in all kind of creations and during the whole year. The flair button from UmWowStudio is always a perfect addition.

When I think of industrial my mind always goes to cogs. So my creation on the Lost and Found collection is cog orientated with a bit of black gesso through the tape measure mask to add a feel of measuring and manufacturing. The flair button from Um WOW Studio finishes the piece off perfectly.

The city walks easily become a real adventure for my kids. You never know what you can find. Even the most regular coin found on the ground is concidered a long lost pirate treasure! Oh, what a fun time it is – childhood!

Each of us sometimes have a difficult period in the life. However there is an artist and creator inside everybody! When all world around is black, you can make everything colorful and bright! Just explore your mind, close your eyes, spread your wings… Keep calm and make art!
