Here is a close up of the random patterning of stapling that I have used. Adhere selected tags to layout background as depicted above.

Select journal die cut elements to suit theme of photo and adhere as depicted above with stapler.

Artfully arrange a long length of black cotton thread, and arrange on background as depicted above. I have extended the cotton thread from one side of the layout to the other, to help draw the eye to the photo.

Colour selected chipboard embellishments with a coordinating chalk ink.

Adhere extra journaling die cuts on adhesive foam dots, as depicted above.

Also, adhere the chipboard embellishments with liquid glue over the main areas of clustered cotton thread as depicted in above 2 photos.

Protect photo and journal die cuts with scrap paper and then add splats of white spray mist on background around the photo.

To complete layout ensure that any loose loops and lengths of cotton thread are adhered to background to ensure it doesn’t move and distort. I use a tooth pick with very small globs of liquid glue, and adhere some bright colourful enamel dots on and around the photo and tags/die cut elements.
