Gypsy Soul by Olga Siedlecka

Today I would like to share with you a few tips on preparing a journal cover. I used wonderful Fortune Teller collection and its birdy patterns.
I started with making a feather which was made of paper, wire and a washi tape. I glued two pieces of paper with wire between them and cut all its edges with a light hand.
Then I stamped the birdy background with a feather stamp.
I also added natural feathers and trimmed the piece of paper to the size of the journal cover.
I attached some chipboards and painted them with acrylic paints.
I sprinkled the whole with micro beads and used watercolur pencils to add a bit of blue tints.
I can’t resist but stamped here and there using handwritten patterns and I also used a few of red and blue mist. Then a glued down the whole onto a journal cover.
