Homegrown Guest Book by Marie Johansson

My mother turned 7o years old last week and one of the things she had wished for was a Guest Book. She knows she has a crafty daughter, so I guess she was pretty sure one of the gifts would be one….

Instead of using a normal book, I decided to use wire sketch pad and decorated it using papers, stickers, die cuts and tags from the Homegrown collection.

I used the Dots stencil from Fortune Teller together with modeling paste and mists to achieve extra dimension and interest.

Flowers, pretty ribbons and small items from Homegrown finish off my project.

I made this video to take you trough the process of making the Guest Book.

And if anyone wonders – my mother was thrilled with the gift and was asking everyone who visited her for her birthday to write a note in it.
