Find Your Happiness by Louise Nelson

Louise loves to print out large A4 size photos and use them as the layout background. For this layout and step by step Louise has printed out a black and white image of leaves and spider webs collected around a verandah post. She has then used the wonderful Fortune Teller, Nature Walk and Yuletide tags and die cuts to coordinate with the photo and ‘tell her story’!

Begin by printing your photo out on a piece of white A4 Cardstock
Ink the edges of the photo with black chalk ink and adhere to a background of Fortune Teller cardstock leaving a larger margin at the top of the photo.

Select an assortment of desired tags and die cut elements, ink the edges and then adhere to photo as depicted above. Some of the elements have been given dimension by usig double sided adhesive foam dots.

To add some colour accents to the photo splat on some coloured mist and to soften it mist it with water to make it spread out. First start with a darker coordinated colour mist. Then soften it with a second lighter colour. I have used Raisin and hot chocolate colours. Dry with a heat tool.

Using the same spray mist colour the chipboard embellishments and title.

I have used chipboard leaves and a butterfly to coordinate with the photo and the pattern images on the die cut elements.

Title is adhered over the clustered elements in bottom right hand corner of the layout, as depicted above.

To coordinate the teal colour of the background patterned cardstock, use some teal coloured mist to add a few extra splats of t colour to the photo, and to the leaves; as depicted below
