Two things I love by Riikka Kovasin

Hello there! It’s Riikka here today sharing two layouts with you. They both have a similar colour scheme but they have something else in common too. They both are about something I adore. The first page is done about 7 Dots Studios, which products I love and adore and the second page is about my favourite band.

I’m so happy to be able to design for 7 Dots Studio. I love the quality of the papers, the embellishments and the designs. I love the stamps and stencils which allow me to play and alter the papers how I wish. I’m feeling so honoured and happy to be a part of the brand in my own, small way!

The other page is about my favourite band, like I said. I’m sure that you are almost bored with the thing as I have been doing quite a few projects connected to it lately. I guess it’s the fact that they are currently making a new album and haven’t been touring that keeps me going back to the old photos and turning them into pieces of keepsake.

I used partly same materials in both layouts. The stamps and stencil are the same. The stickers I used are from the same sets and also the papers are from same 6×6 pads, only the background papers differ. Even the mediums I used were the same – white gesso, dark red mist and black ink. Somehow the red and pink also seemed fitting for the time of the year as well as to the dear topics.
