In the spotlight by Anna Wiśniewska

Hi Folks!

I have something special for You today. I am sure that You have already seen our new collections – “Dreamscapes” and “Hazy Days”.
I am totally in love with both of them, and I’d like to show You the process of creating a boyish, messy layout using “Hazy Days” collection.

This is my layout:

To make it I used “Hazy Days” collection.

I chose the background paper and two layers under the photo.

To create the mixed media background I took some gauze and sticked it to the paper as well as some art stones and mika flakes.

I used the brown ink and the stencil to make some patterns on the
background paper.

I sticked the twine and coloured specified elements with colourful powders and acrylic paints.

To make the background more interesting and dynamic I sticked three buttons around the place for the picture and I decorated the with art
stones and powders.

I stamped randomly around the page. These news stamps are wonderful!

In the meantime I prepared a few triangle chipboards (from “Dreamscapes” collection), and now I could stick them on the background.

I stick all elements together – the photo and the layers of paper along with some paper elements and stickers and then I sticked them to the
background paper.

I gave a little touch of white gesso to all elements on the layout – the photo, the buttons, the gauze, art stones and even the paper layers
under the photo.

To get some interesting effects on the buttons I gave them a little splash of crackle accents. I also outlined the buttons and chipboards
with white pen.

Time for some serious splashing – I used black, green and gold inks.

And finally I outline the whole layout with white pen. Now it’s finished.

Finished layout and some close-ups.
