July Challenge: My Favorite Person / My Hero

We all have people that we look up to, our own personal heroes, our favourite people that mean a word to us. So, this month the theme of our challenge is My Favorite Person / My Hero. Please tell us who is Your favourite person. Create projects with or about those heroes and share them with us.

Hello 7 Dots Studio’s fans! I created a page for you that means something special for me.
In my life the most important people are my mother and daughter. They are my inspiration and I am very thankful for that, they are like “… angels who lift us to our feet when our wings have trouble remembering to fly”. Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
I started off by cutting out the background pattern and I started layering using papers, sisal, gauze, stickers and chipboards. I love the 7 Dots Studio’s stickers, they are amazing and give work character. For my background, I used the “Under the covers” paper from the DREAMSCAPES collection and “Cotton” paper from the Nature Walk collection. At the end I used stickers from the DREAMSCAPES and HAZY DAY collections.

When I saw this challenge, I had a single person who came to mind, my grandmother. She is an extraordinary woman, with an incredible sense of humor. She is never ashamed to speak her mind, but at the same time, it is an extremely sociable and affectionate person. She is, even today at 86 years old, a girl. She adores cuddly toys and her small dog. She was always present for me and it was her who had soothed the torments of my adolescence. Thank you grandma xx love you so much.

A big hero of my life it’s my beloved husband. He’s always saves me, helps me in everything, and always supports me, especially in difficult moments. So I’ve decided to create something for him – a mixed media canvas with all important words. Actually they are 3 small canvases, which I put together.

For our July challenge I’ve created layout about my older son. He’s a really fantastic boy, and I am very proud of him. “Hazy Days” is ideal for such messy, boyish, summery projects.

Hello dear 7 Dots Studio’s fans!!! I think that my real Hero is my husband, he is the best father for our sons, an amazing husband, always here for me and our two little elves. I created this home deco with an embroidering hoop and a lot of 7 DOTS STUDIO products. I started my project with the paper SNIKER from the Homegrown collection, I spread Texture paste Graphite with a stencil to create a beautiful texture on it. I then used sprays to add some different shades of blue to my background. For my paper cluster, I used different pieces of papers from different collections . I also used tags and Dies cuts.

From the first minute I knew about who would be on my layout! Of course, this is my favourite and strong husband. He is my support, my fortress and my man. I know that this person is sent to me from heaven and I am grateful for this every day. He is strong physically and soul, he is an athlete and he has principles – development is the way to perfection and be better every day! For this I respect and love him. My page is about a real hero, a wonderful father and the most caring husband! I was inspired and used an amazing “Dreamscapes” and “Hazy Days” collections.
