December Challenge – Guest Designer

The December Challenge still stands and today we invited the Winner of October Challenge to share with you her take on the Use 3 Colours Theme.

Let’s meet Darianna Neko!

Hello, everyone! Darianna Neko is here with you today! 🙂 Being a guest designer in one of my favourite blogs is very nice and exciting for me! Thank you for such the honor!
I learned about mixed-media spring of 2017. Since then this magical world fascinated me and does not want to let go. I like to make layouts, canvases and art objects. I also create altered projects in this technique. What makes my projects special? I think – contrast, darkened edges, gloom, atmospheric. I like gothic and fantasy themes. I will be very happy to meet new people with the same passion to mixed-media, as I have. Let’s be inspired together.
It’s time to show my project I’ve made for the December Challenge with the theme of “use 3 colours”!

I’m happy to show you my new layout “Be the magic! Let your light shine!” with the atmospheric photo of the unicorn girl. I’m delighted with the works of photographer Bella Kotak. And when I saw this photo – I immediately decided to make some beauty with it! For this layout that I have created I used the paper from Cotton Candy Dreams Collection, stamps from Dreamscapes Collection. Tags and elements I took from different collections. My three colors are: turquoise, aquamarine, shades of gray – brown. Black and white colors are not considered :). I used Iron Orchid Design molds, flowers and color bloom sprays from the Prima Marketing, metal embellishements and Art Basics from Finnabair. As the finishing touch I used toppings – glass balls of different sizes, black and white splashes. I hope you enjoyed my LO! Bye-bye!”

That’s it for Dariana’s project. Gorgeous work.
Did you like it? Leave a comment for her if you did!
The December Challenge is still open and if you feel inspired by this project you can still come and play with us too!
