Letter G by Anna Wiśniewska

Hello Lovelies!
Today I come to you with my newest project made for 7 Dots Studio. It’s an altered wooden letter “G” – like “Great” and “Garden Party”.
“Great”, because we have holidays and summertime already and I am ready for new summer adventures. “Garden Party”, because it’s a name of our newest collection, that I used to make a project for today.

So here it is:

I have also a short tutorial for you. Enjoy.

Because I wanted the letter to be black, I put a black gesso on it, and then I chose the elements I wanted to use, and the photo.

The chipboards looks more interesting when you colour them and when you stick different balls on it.

To make the background not so flat, I put some crackle accents on it and then I made a composition of paper elements, chipboard, metal laces and the photo.

I added some media – balls and colour powders.

And then I stick it all together. I also used White Gold Wax to highlight the edges of the letter.

At the end I added some decorate elements – sequins, stickers, word stickers and stamped butterflies to make the project complete.

And here are a few pictures of finished project:
