Hi my friends! As you know we are very busy now preparing the new releases (yeah!) and wainting impatiently to share with you some more peeks of our new collections – “Hopefully” by Anna Iwanowska and “Domestic Goddess” by me, Finnabair. If you want to see some of the sneak peeks – visit our FB page today – there is some eye candy waiting for you there!

Today we’re happy to share with you a great inspirational post made for you by Irina Teeshoom – our talented designer from Moscow… take a step inside of her Studio and enjoy the project she made just for you!

It’s time to tell about my “Studio”. And here it is.

I have a huge number of photos. I use only my own photos in my art-works. And always print them “just in case”. But it’s never enough.

There are acrylic, paper, digital and hybrid scrap sharing a space on my shelves.

I have boxes with little peaces of everything I might need.

I put my favorite scrap-pages on the wall sometimes.

My favorite and the one of the most important – is my camera. I think I wouldn’t be a scrap-girl without my camera. A have a lot different photographer stuffs – lenses, macro-lenses, control panels and so on… I’m not a usual type of girl (if you haven’t noticed yet) – The best present for me is something for my camera or for my computer. )

OK. We are in my Studio… so let’s scrap.
Usually I start my project with choosing a photo. Then I think about the idea of the page.

After that  I choose  papers and general elements I’m going to use.
I used some acrylic here.

Then I think about the composition once more.

I look over my scrap materials. Think I will use these today.

More paint on the paper.

Now it’s time to start plaing with photos and papers.

More and more elements will be added. Chipboards, stickers, more paint. This time stamps will be the last ones.

I start falling in love with journaling. This time I just print phrase I want to use. And cut it out.

After I just stamp a paint over the paper. And here is my title.

I play I little bit more and the page is ready. These are my [favorite things]. Photos, nature and dreams.

And close ups.
