Hi there friends!
Today we are starting a new term here at 7 Dots Studio – yes it is over a year we are with you! Of course new term means also a new design team and it is high time to reveal the secret!  As always – I’m full of excitement and happiness introducing our amazingly talented group from all over the world ou you- our fans and blog readers.

I’m so very proud I have a possibility to work with these women – I’m sure most of the faces are familiar 🙂 I really hope their unique ideas and  projects will be really inspiring for us all.

Ok, let’s start now – here is our new Design Team 2012-2013!

Louise – Australia

I create because it helps to balance out the day to day stresses of my profession, and it satisfies my arty yearnings. I have always had creative hobbies, before taking up scrapbooking 6 years ago I loved to restore furniture. Since I have started scrapbooking I have also developed a love for portrait photography, and more recently I have begun to dabble in painting. During the last 6 years I have been fortunate to have been a Creative Design Team member for Scrapbooking Memories Magazine in 2009 and currently a Scrapbooking Memories Master for 2012. Also fortunate to be invited to be on the Creative Design Team for UK based scrapbooking magazine; Scrap365. Currently I create for Aussie Scrap Source, Jenni Bowlin Studio, Imaginarium Designs and Tattered Angels. I have been blessed to be regularly published in Scrapbooking Memories, and have also been featured in the last 4 editions of Somerset Memories, with technique articles and layouts in the reader gallery.I have been told that I have a creative style that is; Unique, deceptively simple, and arty! I am honoured to be joining the amazing team at 7 Dots Studio, and cant wait to share with you my scrappy passion.

Larissa – Brasil

My name is Larissa Albernaz and I´m from São Paulo, Brazil.
I´ve been married to my sweet husband Flávio for 12 years and we have an adorable daughter Isabela. As a paper crafter, I have been scrapbooking for seven years. Along these years, scrapbooking has provided me a great sort of artistic possibilities and a lot of fun!
I create because it provides me to express myself in style, mixing paper, embellishments, colors, memories and a message.
While scrapbooking I pursue something that has sense to me, which inspires me and that can be different, interesting, cute, creative, colorful and fun!

I adore papers and creating page layouts or 3 dimensional pieces!. One of my life’s little pleasures is to cut, tear and distress papers, creating anything that translates the story I want to tell.
My style is eclectic, crafty. I love adding a lot of layers, including some paints or inks and I pay great attention to the details. You can check out my works at my blog.

Irene – Malaysia

My name is Irene Tan or more known as “Scrapperlicious”. I’m from Malaysia and I have a most wonderful family that always supports me in pursuing my passion.
I create because it is not only my passion but also a place for me to go to for a therapeutic session. Scrapbooking to me is really about family and life. There’s nothing more fun and inspiring than to scrap photographs captured everyday of our loved ones and the moments. My scrapping motto has always been “Scrap with your heart and don’t forget to have fun too!”
I officially started scrapbooking in March 2007 and a couple of months later, in June; I discovered an absolute love of stamping and inking. I don’t really know how to describe my style of scrapping. However, others had told me that my style is ephemera/distressed. I’m so excited to be part of the DT for 7Dots Studio!

Marianne – Norway

My name is Marianne Johansson and I live in Hamar, Norway. I’m a single mom with two gorgeous girls aged 11 and 15.
I love music, art, scrapbooking and taking photos.
I have been scrapbooking since 2005 and just love it! Started with layouts, then cards, then back to layouts and nowadays I’m doing a lot av tags and Art Jounal. I have also made some small paintings/canvases.
Don’t think I have a special style, my creative work mirrors my mood and I do all from Clean & Simple to the quite opposite like layouts with lots and lots of details.
I create because I love it! It gives me joy in life when I create. I love the moments when I can change a piece of paper from a “plain” paper to a piece of art. Art is in my soul and I try to transfer that to my work.
I am truly thankful and so honered to be on the 7 Dots Studio DesignTeam, thanks!

Czekoczyna – Poland

I create because It’s the best way to express myself. I can show my feelings and emotions without using words. My name is Kasia Krzymińska, however in the scrap world I use my nickname Czekoczyna (or Czeko to make it shorter). I’m 22 years old and I live in Warsaw, Poland. I am pharmacist and I really enjoy it. But I am also a bit of an artistic soul – I’m searching for a inspiration everywhere and everyday – in music, nature, old books, bad weather, dreams… I love summer, meadows and beautiful notebooks.

I started scrapbooking in 2010 and loved it from that moment on. Now I am addicted to scrapping and everything that comes with it. When I create I use a lot of fabrics, embellishments, paints and lace. I love mixed-media and balanced colors. I adore adding layers and texture to my layouts.
I would describe my style as delicate, maybe a little vintage but I also like to learn some new techniques.
I hope that my work will provide inspiration for everyone!

Encza – Poland

My name is Ania. I have scrapbooked for 6 years and I suppose that it could be called an addiction At home – a wife and a mom for two. My job – economist. Daily – positively twisted with head full of ideas, a little bit crazy, sometimes scatterbrained. I cannot imagine a day without a book and good coffee.
I fell inspired mainly by colours, interesting textures, sometimes a photo from the internet, a fabric pattern, sometimes a few randomly arranged pieces of paper. I do not plan – I scrapbook under the influence of a moment, impulse. I just follow it.
In my projects you can find a lot of die-cuts, flowers and countless 3D compositions. I create because… scrapbooking is my little world, a moment just for me, an escape from daily routine.
An invitation to 7 Dots Studio Design Team is an extraordinary distinction for me and a new challenge. And for you… I have already a load of new inspirations, which soon you will be able to see on the blog.

Tanya – Ukraine

My name is Tanya Batrak and I have a passion for paper crafting, photography, traveling and sometimes cooking. My family and I live in the beautiful city of Kyiv, Ukraine. I started scrapbooking in May 2009 when our sweet daughter was three months old. I have always been interested in the arts since I can remember. Scrap, scrap, scrap! All this paper stuff is for the good of my soul. No, it’s not a remedy. I do not scrapbook when I’m in low spirits. I do scrapbook when my heart has something to say.
I create because I like to experiment. Yes, you can imagine the result but you never know what it would be in the end. It’s a great feeling when you see like your idea transforms in your hands in a wonderful project. I like to challenge myself. And trying something new is always a good warm up for your brain and imagination.

We are very happy to welcome again ladies from our first Design Team – here are our returning designers:

Tara – Canada

I live in Beautiful British Columbia, Canada with my gorgeous husband of 10 years and our three amazing kids. My eldest son just turned 7, my youngest son is 5 and a half and my daughter is 3. They are the heart and soul of my projects. I am now a SAHM to my precious little kiddos but before that, I worked as a webmaster in the Technology industry for many years and loved it. I think I will return to the ‘work’ force one day but for now, my job is at home, raising my kids (and squeezing in a little scrapping on the side).
Random Facts about Me: I have a degree in Psychology, a green belt in karate, love horseback riding (although its been way too long since I last rode), I order a grande dark from Starbucks almost every day, prefer chocolate to any other sweet – although I’ll eat any other sweet over chips/salty stuff any day, I’m the oldest of 3 siblings, gave up hope of maintaining my ‘Monica from Friends’ (as my husband would describe) cleaning habit once I had kids of my own, have earned more grey hairs and wrinkes in the past 7 years than I could have imagined and love my family more than anything else on the face of this earth!
I started scrapbooking in November 2008. Instant addiction. I love papercrafting – LOVE it. I create because it challenges me, it relaxes me and it lets me escape into a world of creativity that I adore. I love to explore different techniques and styles but I feel most natural working with a shabby chic genre with lots of distressing!
If you want to take a peek at some of my work, please stop by my blog for a visit – I’d love to have you!

Heidi – USA

Hi! My name is Heidi Kelley and I live in the United States, in the state of Missouri. I am a full time stay at home Mama, whose world really revolves around the “littles” that my husband and I have brought into the world. My husband Patrick and I have four children, Ahna, Sarenna, Jax, and Xander. There are few things I love more than having my hands covered with paint, gesso, and various other art mediums… and creating works of art that feature my children and the everyday wonder in my life. I create with my heart, never having a plan to start with, and simply going where the mood, paint, and photos take me.
I create because…
I truly believe that life lies in the details and while the big picture can most certainly be beautiful, it is the tiny elements that carve each one of us into our own person. I want to document these details, these little snippets of whimsy, of character, of flaw! I love sharing my story, our story, the way I see it – or the way I think my little ones see it… so that I can remember it long after the moments have passed.
