Fly me to the Moon
Canvas
I am so inspired by the gorgeous papers from 7Dots Studio and this canvas is a result of that. Last day I took one of the papers from Domestic Goddess collection and wanted to make something with it. It didn’t turn out the way I had planned (like most of my projects)
Started with a plain white canvas plate. My plan was to use the paper and try to get the same colors as the paper with different inks. I startet out rather well but during the process the whole project changed. Don’t know what happened LOL
Anyway, after several days (yes, lots of things that needed long drying-time) I was really pleased with the result. And yes, I managed to get some of the colors I was aiming for althoug my project ended up totally different from the paper I tried to “copy”.
Lots of paint, molding paste, gel medium and inks together with some papers and tags from 7Dots made this project a really “firework”.

Layout: Fly me to the moon
This layout is a result of a trip to Gdansk, Poland just recently. I’m really scared when I’m flying and was not looking forward to the flight at all. But once we were up in the air, high high above the safe ground it went wery well. I was shooting photos, doing some art journaling and was totally relaxed. Before I knew it we were preparing for landing.
The layout is very much inspired by Louise Nelson, who makes the most gorgeous layouts with lots of special pictures.

Layout: classphoto
My eldest daughter, Karianne, and her classmates had a photoshoot for their yearbook/catalogue some time ago. They both did portrait and group-photo.
So here is our darling daughter, age soon_to_be 15 in her last year on this school, before she start high school next year.
I wanted to do a rather clean layout without much colors to understate the large photo.
I love doing layouts in white/grey and black!
