Today is the last day of presenting our Design Team – I’m sure you’re already familiar with 7DS girls and our DT profile: we focus on diversity, creativity and having fun with creating. All the artists gathered for this project are ery talented and unique.
For the last post I’ve chosen the most grungy, mixed-media individuals who are in love with paint, spray, textures and grungy details – meet amazing Heidi Kelley from USA and…well… me😉

Heidi

Here is Heidi’s story about herself:

Hi! My name is Heidi Kelley and I live in the United States, in the state of Missouri. I am a full time stay at home Mama, whose world really revolves around the “littles” that my husband and I have brought into the world. I have been married to my husband Patrick for 11 years, and we have three children: 2 daughters, Ahna (10), and Sarenna (8) and 1 son, Jax (1). We are also expecting our fourth child this coming February!! There are few things I love more than having my hands covered with paint, gesso, and various other art mediums… and creating works of art that feature my children and the everyday wonder in my life. My two daughters and newborn son are the inspiration for nearly everything I share, although a few photos of my hubby and I fall in occasionally! I create with my heart, never having a plan to start with, and simply going where the mood, paint, and photos take me.

I create because…
I truly believe that life lies in the details and while the big picture can most certainly be beautiful, it is the tiny elements that carve each one of us into our own person. I want to document these details, these little snippets of whimsy, of character, of flaw! I love sharing my story, our story, the way I see it – or the way I think my little ones see it… so that I can remember it long after the moments have passed.

And here is Heidi’s blog – feel invited!

FinnAnd finally – me:)

My name is Anna Dąbrowska – Pękocka, but I tend to use my nickname Finnabair (pronounced Finnavar) or Finn to make it shorter.
I live in Warsaw, Poland, with my supportive husband – Jedrek, who understands my passion, lovabe beagle, Ira and 2 parrots. I love books, photos, new challenges in my life and a cup of black tea somewhere nearby;)

I just cant stop creating since I started in 2007, when I tried several techniques like decoupage or altering. In the end of 2007 my friends passed me information about scrapbooking and in 2008 I made my first pieces … and I fell in love. My next step was trying mixed media and collage – and my love got even deeper!

I create because … I’m totally addicted – especially to collages,  paper layouts and art journaling. I love mixing different styles, supplies and medias in my projects, as I think the joy of experimenting and the pleasure of creating freely is most important in every kind of art. For me it’s not important to define my style – I assume it is usually grungy, artsy, sometimes funky or shabby – or it’s everything mixed together! Are the names important? I just create in the way I feel at the moment and I am a very moody artist;)

I teach classes in scrapbooking and mixed-media both in Poland and abroad or create as a freelance designer for scrapbooking magazines or local shops and manufacturers. Since November 2010 I’m a Design Team Member for Tattered Angels, since 2011 for Prima Marketing. I also design for Polish shop – Scrapki.pl and I support such brands as Dusty Attic or Layers of Color. You’ll also find my projects in 2 challenge blogs: The Color Room,  and Подари кусочек счастья.

I’m truly happy and excited to be in the team with such gifted, creative artists from all over the world. I strongly believe 7 Dots Studio will be a great adventure for all of us – giving inspiration, pleasure of creating toghether and great friendly atmosphere!
