Flea Market – challenge
Hello again! We have a new inspiration and a new challenge for you 🙂
This time I’d like to invite you to the Flea Market and focus on the little findings from our drawers: pins, safety pins, staples, paper clips, wooden clips, hairclips, buckles and whatever similar comes to your mind… To sum up: all these little things that help us attach one thing to another:) Below you will find inspirations from our Design Team.
Bless You
I had lots of metal embellishments on hand that I ended up painting in a copper tone so that they would all coordinate with one another. I also adore doilies and tend to hoard them if I find them in thrift stores. I have used a few smaller ones on this layout as well as some pages of newsprint that I ripped out of an old encyclopedia.

What’s in a jar
I love everything about new collection Love Is In The Air. And I used one of its sheets as a background. It has unique and complete look so I just added a few stains of pink paint and gesso. I don’t through away any scraps of paper. And you can see a piece of sheet with tags. Those frames suit perfectly to any of my layouts 🙂
Last year i did a lot of travelling for workshops etc. and with being an avid Instagramer I always take a plethora of plane and airflight photos. This is one of the many that I took last year in my scrappy travels.

Some time ago I found an old scissor at a flee market and knew I had to buy it, for a project. It’s been hanging in my room for a long time now, didn’t quite know what to do with it. It was old and full of rust.
But then I decided to make a wall hanging with the scissor as a centerpiece. And with my favourite colors of course.
I started with a book cover, painted with black gesso and did some stamping with white gesso (it’s there, but probably well hidden )
Cut out some circles from the paper “sleepless” from Dreamer Collection.
Lots of old laces and some tape on the background as well.
Used Dylusions inks on the bacground and on the scissor I used Sorbets by Art Anthology in addition to some spray inks.
Some small leather parts to “fasten” the scissor, also from a flee market.
I also used some stickers and alpha stickers from the Domestic Goddess collection. Just love all the words at the bottom of those stickers.
Now I just have to find a way to hang it on the wall. An old fork or spoon would be perfekt as the hanging I believe. So off to a new flee market to find some more!

You Lovin’ Bubbles
I can’t get enough of the Dreamer Collection. The colors are exquisite. The way that the colors swirl around within the collections makes it whimsical, and reminds me of bubbles. I wanted to really bring this out, using the circle elements within the “Sleepless” paper, cutting them out and placing the randomly on the page, creating the framework for each of my clusters. Of course, I had to use pictures of my little, enjoying bubbles himself, and I mimicked this effect using Glossy Accents on top of cut out circles from the Dreamer collection, as well as putting clear bubbles on the background paper, which was the backside of the “Sleepless” paper as well.

My page is about imaginary postapocalyptic childhood. Little bit sad. Very fragile. Fortunately, it’s only my imagination. The grey clip, which I used on this page is almost as old as I am. It came from my childhood in a box with paper dolls. Journaling is children’s a puzzle about summer.
