december challenge use 3 colours

Welcome to the last Challenge this year. Limitations may lead to creativity that’s why this month we chose to limit your colour choice for your next project. The theme of the December Challenge is Use 3 Colours. So think wisely what colours are you gonna choose and share with us your projects.

We also got a little announcement to make. Next year we are going to change the way we announce challenges. Starting February 2017 They are going to start on the first day of each month and end on the last. The winners will be announced on the 5th of the next month. We will also introduce new moodboards that will serve as the theme of the Challenge so be on a lookout for those.

That’s all for now and Here is the inspiration from our team:

december challenge use 3 coloursThe new collection Northern Lights is perfect for the December challenge! Two gorgeous colors: Purple and Teal and a touch of gold … I love this combo ! I used the paper Northern Lights – Frayed Knot for my background. I cut a lot of flowers and leaves on different papers with some dies. Then I started layered with them and Tags and Dies cut from this collection.

december challenge use 3 coloursWhen I signed up for this challenge, I thought it would be easy. Three colors, not a problem at all, but when I got to create my layout, I realized I’m more of a two colors or even of a monochromatic kind of girl! I decided to go with two colors that were close on the chromatic circle, blue and green, and to add a third contrasting color: red. I love the end result. I used both Northern Lights and Paint Chips collection for this layout and I love it!

december challenge use 3 coloursI have used Pink, teal and purple combo for my layout. I chose a neutral background from “Homegrown” collection and used “Northern lights” collection for layering.

With the holidays fast approaching and so many festive get-togethers, You can never have enough cards or tags to go around. And like so many, there’s the work parties and other gala’s that last well into the new year. So with the new challenge this month at 7 Dots Studio, I decided to make a fun scenic card and tag of a winter wonderland. And the challenge is only to use three colours, I decided on the Yuletide collection which was perfect and I used an off holiday colour with the yellow.I also made a little video for your enjoyment. Happy Holidays to you all!!!

december challenge use 3 coloursThis new challenge immediately inspired me and I thought right away that the new Paint Chips collection was perfect to illustrate this three-color theme. I used green, blue and yellow. The highly colored aspect of this collection and its modern style seemed perfect to me for the picture of my son, the yellow color also matches his yellow T-shirt.

december challenge use 3 coloursI have three beloved colors, that I love to use in every project. They are: green, yellow and blue. With this colors I’ve made a joyful, boyish layout with a photo of my older son. To create it I used the newest collection “Paint Chips”.

december challenge use 3 coloursUsing 3 colors is really not easy for me, and for you? I hope that you will choose challenging colors. The new collection Paint Chips is just perfect for this challenge… Are you ready to play? I would also like to add that this is my last creation for this team. Thank you tusia for your trust. Goodbye everyone, see you on Web.

december challenge use 3 coloursWith this months challenge of 3 colours Louise really wanted to stretch herself and not resort to her usual monochromatic black white grey tones. The new Pant Chips range is just perfect for this challenge!

december challenge use 3 coloursI made a big album! I think that it’s very interesting album! It has unusual form. I created it using Dreamscapes and Hazy Days collection. Paper, stickers and masks decorated it. I splashed album with mists. Thanks to Die-cut Elements and stickers you can show amazing creativity all through work. Limited color pool always gives good results. I bet on pink, gold and black. The entire collection is kept in this color. I hope that my album will inspire you to play with the papers from this collections.
