Do you have a chronological method to make your creations? I usually have one and I’ll show it to you here in today’s tutorial. I always start with clear gesso, then if I want to use some stencils with modeling paste, that’s the time to.
After all my modeling pastes are dry, I put my medium to add some colours, and then I use some stamps. Of course I already have an idea of the elements and how my picture takes space on my layout. After that it’s texture’s time. I add some thread or still diamonds … all kind of textures. Next, I build the shape under my photo with papers, stickers, tags or other papers. I also use pieces of thick cardboard to add some dimension.
I then add my photo and my ornaments, my flowers and my flairs. I correct the colour with mediums and sometimes the texture if needed. To finish it off I always add droplets of white and or black to my creation while paying attention to cover the photo.
