February 2018 Guest Designer – Mariya Manannikova

Let’s meet Mariya Manannikova!

Hello! My name is Manannikova Mariya, and today I have the honor to become a guest designer on my favourite blog 7 dots studio. Thank you for such an opportunity and invaluable experience. I’ve been doing Scrapbooking for a long time, but the style of Mixed Media appeared in my life less than a year ago. Since then, every day in my head there are more and more new ideas, and my hands are drawn to the colours.

And so … I present to you my new project “Wherever You Go …” This work is about the expanses of our planet, about freedom and about the feeling of inner happiness! In my work, I used the paper of the 9th Wave collection as well as the inscriptions of the Cold Country collection, Texture Paste – White Crackle from Prima Marketing, many watercolour and acrylic paints! The final accents are beads and glitter. I wanted to make my light, gentle multi-part page but at the same time spacious, add air and a sense of freedom. I hope, I managed to inspire you to create your masterpieces!
