Imagine a steampunk scrapbooking page
Hello Everyone!
For today’s layout, I chose the Star Menagerie paper from the Starglazer collection.
I rarely use such a dark background, but somehow it caught me. I love the gold shimmer on it.
I was thinking about steampunk or vintage style. Of course, I chose steampunk, although in such cases there is no wrong choice.
First I stencilled it with vintage gold wax. For this creation I combined the priming of the elements, I put black gesso on the chipboards and white gesso on the mould elements. I used mostly waxes. Then I painted the chipboard negative in a similar colour to the photo. I used Finnabair waxes in the following colours: vintage gold, celestial, emerald, sea glass, lucky emerald and firebird.
I put a mixture of gold rush and white pearl acrylic paints on the window frame mould elements and then added Burnt Sienna liquid acrylic paint.
I added Mitform castings metal elements and granular decorative elements.
I hope you like it. 😊
Love,
Marietta
